Delta APC Coucillorship Candidates Restrategise, Mobilise To Deliver APC In Delta State.

 In preparation for the coming elections, and in the bid to ensure resounding victory for All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidates in Delta North Senatorial at the 2023 elections, party chieftains under the aegis of Delta North APC Councillorship Candidates have embarked on a reorganisation of the forum, to ensure it delivers on its resolutions.

In its first for the year, which was held in Asaba on Sunday, 22 January 2023, the former APC Councillorship candidates said the meeting, amongst other things, was to effect a reorganisation of its ranks, in view of the notable and opportune political developments.

In separate remarks, members of the group emphasised the superiority of APC Candidates over and above their respective competitions at the various elections,  while also speaking on the need to reposition Delta North and Anioma Nation to be properly accommodated in the coming dispensation.

Present at the meeting was Hon Chi Emmanuel Oweazim, Councillor Representing Ward 17 (Onicha-Olona II) and Minority leader of the Aniocha North Local Government Legislative House,  who expressed sincere appreciation for the continued existence of the group, as well as, called for all hands to be on deck, to work with the new DACC Delta North Leadership for effective grassroots politicking ahead of the polls.

"This initiative is one that I'm proud to be associated with, and will continue to identify with it. We are stakeholders and in our respective localities we are party leaders with the experience of electoral contest. This is why we must keep ourselves sheong and work hard and smart".

In his brief remarks, the new Zonal Coordinator of the group Comrade Chukwunedum Ogochukwu, expressed his resolve to lead with direction, passion and purpose in order to ensure the group gets recognised for its hardwork and dedication to the party.


He said " I am humbled and sincerely appreciate this opportunity to lead this noble association in our own Anioma Nation,  and as a result I promise to run a leadership that is all inclusive and has direction.
We are experienced party chieftains and our experience is advantageous to the party, therefore we must do our best to deliver the party and secure Delta North's share in the Victory Meal that is to be served, through His Excellency Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and Rt Hon Friday Osanebi,  our Gubernatorial Candidate, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi and all Candidates.

In her remarks, State Women Coordinator of the group, Comrade Judith Okonta emphasised the need for Delta North to wake up and rise to the occasion of delivering the Senatorial District for APC, so as to be able to sit at the negotiation table and deliver dividends of democracy to the people.

Comrade Okonta who spoke passionately, said " APC is doing very well today, and it's partly because those of us who belong to this forum contributed immensely to the popularity of the party.
As a party we know we are better and have not done badly, but it is time draw up our sleeves to push for the party to deliver all our Candidates. There is a lot to be done, and we must do it to get the benefits", she added.


Present in the meeting were members from across the 9 local government areas and 3 Federal Constituencies that make up the district.

Alongside Comrade Chukwunedum Ogochukwu who emerged as Zonal Coordinator, others include Peter Ozowa (State Treasurer), Pastor Oliver Ikechukwu, (State Organizing Secretary), Comrade Samuel Okolo (State Youth Leader), Comrade Judith Okonta (State Woman Coordinator) Prince Chukwuemeka Okolie (State Asst Publicity Secretary).



Others present were the newly commissioned LGA Coordinators of the forum, who all pledged to deliver their best to the groom and party.
