The rot in the Nigeria society was laid by IBB and promoted by him to the detriment of an enduring good moral fabric and development of Nigeria. 

It was during IBB’s dictatorship that fraud festered and corruption ensnared the whole civil service in manners and avenues never seen before. 

Andrew checked out during his reign of profligacy and theft of national resources meant for development of Nigeria. Hence Japa was birthed! 

IBB single handedly gifted us advance fee fraud and ensured the Changouri brothers from Lebanon including Julius Berger maimed and milk Nigeria’s economy like a cash cow without consequence except kickbacks to his cronies. 

He introduced the concept of fronting with network such as the tailor (Foliaho Alakija) he met through his wife that became a billionaire in dollars owing oil blocks with the likes of Danjuma another thief etc - Concentrating prosperity in the hands of a few rather than in the hands of all Nigerians! 

The likes of Emeka Offor and  Dino Melaye; Kanu and a host of others were also his benefactors amongst several others with hands in the coffers of Nigeria responsible for the present decay, debt ridden sick country with  the quick money mindset that pervades the land. 

He bleeded and showed how to rape Nigeria to death while smiling to the bank, and giving crumps to Nigeria with shenanigans like a rat nimbling at your foot while blowing air to mask the pain temporarily!
